BNPP AM appoints Morten Bentsen as Head of Distribution for the Nordics
Morten Bentsen has been appointed Head of Distribution for the Nordics and started on 20th of March 2019. He is responsible for the Global Products business of BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) Nordics. Based in London and in Stockholm from the second half of this year, he reports to Charles Janssen, Head of Northern Europe and Co-Head of Distribution Europe, BNPP AM, and locally to Eirik Winter, CEO BNP Paribas Nordics.
Morten has extensive international experience within the finance services industry. He has held various leadership positions in institutional sales and marketing. He joins from Abberton Capital LLP, where he was Partner and Head of Business Development. Prior to Abberton Capital LLP, he spent close to 10 years at Barclays Capital as Managing Director, Head of Credit Sales Scandinavia and Head of European OTC Clearing sales. Morten began his professional career at BNP Paribas Group where he developed and ran distribution businesses as Head of Global Central Bank Sales and Head of Fixed Income Sales to Scandinavia between 1998 and 2003.
Morten is Danish national and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Economics from the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.
