Marie-Genevieve is Head of Social Business Investment at BNP Paribas Asset Management. After a first experience at the CSR department at BNP Paribas Group, as Microfinance & Social Entrepreneurship Analyst, she joined BNPP AM in July 2013 to develop impact investing.
The ambition was to support the growth of the Solidarity Investment Funds in France and to position BNPP AM as a market leader. Marie-Geneviève was in charge of implementing a dedicated investment strategy and specific tools and methodologies in order to identify, analyse and advise investment opportunities in social businesses in France. She noticeably contributed to the establishment of a methodology for social impact analysis and measurement.
Presently, Marie-Genevieve is responsible for following-up the social businesses invested, supporting the growth of impact investing at BNPP AM, with a team of two people, and promoting BNPP AM’s expertise. She is an elected member of the Supervisory Board of Finansol, French collective of Solidarity Finance actors.
She also holds a degree from the ESSEC Social Entrepreneurship Department, during which she studied the business model innovations in the sector of professional reintegration.
